Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Torovio Technologies ("Torovio," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit torovio.com or contact us.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: when you submit our consultation form, we collect your name, business name, email, phone number, business industry, existing website, the service you are interested in, your preferred contact method, your project description, and your consent acknowledgment. If you call, text, or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and the content of your message. Information collected automatically: the page you submitted from, the submission time, the language you used, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your network (IP) address used only to prevent spam and abuse. We do not store your raw IP address with your inquiry.

2. How we use information

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, prepare proposals, provide and support services you request, communicate with you by your preferred method, prevent fraud and abuse, keep business and tax records, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to train third-party AI models.

4. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting, database hosting, and email delivery providers (for example, Resend for email). They may use your information only to provide services to us and must protect it. We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Torovio, our customers, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

The Site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical logs to deliver and secure the Site. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first.

6. Retention

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you unless you become a customer or the law requires longer retention. Customer records are kept for the term of the Agreement and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted database access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send payment card numbers, passwords, or sensitive personal information through our contact form.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling (we do not do these). To make a request, email contact@torovio.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your request and respond within 45 days, which may be extended as allowed by law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Text messages and calls

Text links on the Site open your own phone's messaging app. The Site does not send text messages. If you text or call us, standard carrier rates may apply, and we will use your number only to respond to you. Reply STOP to any text from us to stop receiving texts.

10. Children

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Site may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own responsibility.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
